Environmental Policy

The Team at the Croydon Park Hotel are environmentally conscious. To carry out this commitment, it is our policy to strive to ensure that all aspects of the business have the least harmful effect on the environment by implementing an environmental management system to:

• Ensure that all employees are aware of their contribution in assisting the hotel in achieving improved environmental performance and provide specific environmental training to achieve this.
• Encourage our Guests, Contractors & Suppliers to act in accordance with our environmental policy.
• Monitor the implementation of the policy by carrying out periodic audits of compliance and, when appropriate, introduce remedial measures to ensure continuous improvement.
• Ensure that all waste is segregated and disposed of in the correct manner

In addition, areas of particular attention within the business will be the selection of non-polluting technology, waste minimisation, reuse/ recycling, phasing out the CFC’s and ozone depleting substances and the reduction of energy consumption.
