The award is based on guest feedback, hotel performance both from the financial point and also team development. Hotel appearance and other internal evaluations set by Choice International are taken into consideration before the winners are announced. The award ceremony took place in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, US in June 2013.
General Manager of the Hotel, Cyril Patrick Baptist said, “After the party that we had last year by winning the Best Business for Hospitality and Leisure in Croydon and then the UK Clarion Hotel of the Year award, I thought it was going to take something special to top that all but being finalist at the Choice International awards is simply superb.
The team and I am honoured to be recognised as it’s been a very challenging year for the hospitality business not only in London but in the UK as a whole so this will definitely be up there!”

We're celebrating a night of success at the Croydon Business Awards 2012. Winner of the prestigious ‘Hospitality & Leisure Award’ for the second year in a row, the hotel was also commended for the best medium sized business category and highly commended for its customer care.

General Manager of the Hotel, Cyril Patrick Baptist said:

Winner - Croydon Business Awards 2011
Awarded the ‘Best Business for Hospitality and Leisure Award, 2011’ at the Croydon Business Awards held at Fairfield Halls and also winning the ‘The Employer of the Year Award, 2011’ awarded by the Croydon Business Partnership for work with the borough’s young people wanting a start in the hospitality industry, the hotel is flying high.

With these achievements the hotel was also shortlisted for the South London Business awards sponsored by HSBC for the ‘Best Medium Sized Business Awards 2011’.
